2025 October 13th, Hangzhou, China – Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (Geely Holding) announced today that aggregate sales in the third quarter of 2025 across its portfolio automotive brands – Geely Auto, LYNK & CO, Zeekr, Volvo Cars, Polestar, PROTON, Lotus, smart, Radar, LEVC, and Farizon reached 1,020,913 vehicles, a 28% Year on Year increase.

Among the Group’s Q3 aggregated sales, electrified (EVs, HEV, PHEVs) vehicles sales reached 588,110 units, a YoY increase of 59% and representing 58% of the Group quarterly sales.

Cumulative sales in the first nine months of 2025 reached 2,953,452 units, a YoY increase of 29% with electrified vehicles accounting for 1,590,866 units, a YoY increase of 68% and representing 54% of the Group total.

Q3 2025 marks a milestone for Geely Holding as the first time the Group has recorded quarterly sales over 1 million units. Growth remains strong driven by strong momentum in electrified vehicle sales.

Unit Sales Details

Geely Auto, the Hong Kong-listed holding company (HK.0175) that includes shareholdings in Zeekr Group (inc Zeekr and Lynk & Co brand), reported its sales in the first nine months of 2025 reached 2,170,189 units, an approximately 46% YoY increase.

Sales of electrified vehicle reached 1,167,823 units, an increase of 114% YoY and accounting for 53.8% of the company’s total.

Lynk & Co, the company’s premium brand sold 241,472 units, a 23% YoY increase. The company’s high-end premium electric mobility technology brand, Zeekr sold 143,600 units, a YoY increase of 1%.

Recent launches of new high-value products including the Lynk & Co 900, Geely Galaxy M9, and Zeekr 9X have helped the company maintain its momentum as well as improve margins. While electrified vehicle sales have led the company’s growth, sales of traditional fuel models have also remained steady throughout the year with Geely Auto’s mainstream ICE product series even growing 5% against the market trend.

On July 15th, Geely Automobile Holdings and Zeekr Intelligent Technology officially signed a merger agreement. The planned merger is in line with Geely Holding’s earlier announced “One Geely” strategy and continued integration of the Group’s automotive businesses.

Volvo Cars sold 514,294 vehicles globally in the first nine months of 2025 of which 227,317 were electrified, accounting for 44% of the brand’s total.

Polestar sold 44,482 fully electric vehicles in the first nine months of 2025, a YoY increase of 36.5%.

In the commercial vehicle segment, Farizon, a market leader in the electrified new energy commercial vans and trucks segments saw its sales in the first nine months of 2025 reach 107,257 units, a YoY increase of 49.5%. In September, the brand broke new ground in the commercialization of its methanol hybrid electric mobility technology with the launch of the world’s first methanol hybrid river boat. The expansion of the company into maritime mobility open new possibilities for the application of land-based EV and methanol powertrain technologies to water.
